This one-off, unique jewel was conceived for a large pear cut amethyst drop. Quirky and full of character, it utilises contrasting surface finishes and bright 18 carat gold detailing.

One thing you can say about this special brooch is that it will certainly get you noticed. The large, 28 carat amethyst is over 20 mm from top to bottom so the whole design is over 80 mm high.

The amethyst swings freely from the 18 carat yellow gold foot, adding playful movement, with its rich purple colour reflecting in the highly polished arcing tail.

A bright white diamond highlights the eye and the crest on its head is finished off by a vivid green tsavorite garnet.
