No, I do not have a commercial premises. I operate from my private design studio in Bedfordshire with all the manufacturing taking place at third party goldsmith workshops. The lack of commercial overheads allows me to keep my costs at a minimum and pass these saving to you. If you wish to arrange a face-to-face meeting (and it is geographically possible) then I will be more than happy to see you, but it is quite possible to conduct the whole bespoke commissioning process via the telephone, e-mail and through the post.
How do I commission a bespoke jewel?
The process is quite simple, and it all starts with you contacting me. Each commissioning experience is different, as each customer request is different. The full details on how the ordering process normally unfolds can be found at, Bespoke Process.
How long does it take to complete a commission?
As all commissions are unique, there are no set time limits on delivery. Ideally, I’ll aim to have all commissions completed in 4-6 weeks and you should allow at least this much time for your project to be completed. Very complex commissions requiring specialist labour or materials may also take longer. You will be advised at all time on the expected delivery date. Delays in responding to e-mails, etc can also slow down the process. Projects may also take longer when the workshops’ are at their busiest, usually in the weeks running up to Christmas.
If your commission is required for a fixed date, please notify me at the soonest possible moment. Urgent and ‘rush’ work can be undertaken but may incur additional costs.
I don’t know what would be suitable for my wife/girlfriend - husband/boyfriend, can you suggest something?
Don’t worry if you are lost for ideas for a partner. We’ll talk through some likes and dislikes, discuss their lifestyle and personality and soon start to build up some ideas.
Do you only design in precious materials?
Yes, I only design with the finest precious materials in mind. Gold, silver and platinum, the finest coloured stones and fine diamonds.
Can you remodel any existing jewellery I might have?
Of course I can! Traditionally, family jewellery was remade and remodelled from generation to generation. Family jewellery is a very tangible connection to previous generations, but styles don’t always age well and some pieces wear out. I can help you breath new life into your old rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets etc.

How do I know if a particular gemstone is suitable for what I want?
I will advise you at every stage on the suitability of any design or gemstone you might choose.
What is your policy on Blood Diamonds?
I only buy new diamonds from wholesalers that adhere to the Kimberly Accord, which aims to block the supply of so called ‘blood diamonds’ reaching the market place. Occasionally, I will use an antique or ‘vintage’ diamond in a design, where its exact history and country of origin may not be known.
