Emeralds are the star member of the beryl group of gemstones that also includes aquamarine (blue/green in colour), morganite (peach/pink) and helidor (yellow), amongst others.
This beautiful Colombian emerald is a vivid, medium green. This stone retains its colour even in lower light conditions, so it will look as good in candle light for dinner as it will out doors for lunch. The colour is coupled with excellent clarity and a lively, fiery appearance. At 3.74 carats it is also an excellent wearable size.
The clean, graphic lines of the design are enhanced by the high quality trillion cut diamond. Both stones are securely set in solid 18 carat white and yellow gold.
